All the lessons are conducted in English and last 40 minutes. Each lesson is followed by a 20 minute session of Q&A
Understanding Global China Summer School is open to a maximum of 40 participants. Your first step to becoming a participant is an application. The application deadline is May 31, 2017. No further applications can be considered after this date.

Tuition fees depend on the status of the applicant.

The fee covers tuition, working materials and all the lunches, and shall be paid in full by all admitted participants before June 21, 2017. Fee once paid is not refundable or adjustable under any circumstances in future.
There are ten scholarships available, covering the admission fee.
Students only may apply for a scholarship.

CSCC does not return application documents.
Those students who will be awarded with a scholarship will have their fee entirely reimbursed by October 31, 2017, provided they have taken part in at least 26 out of 28 hours of classes.
The only accepted means of payment is a direct bank transfer for the above mentioned amounts, depending on the participant’s status. Bank transfer costs MUST be covered in full by the participants.

The town of Frascati is located on a green hill in the Lazio Region area called "Castelli Romani". An ancient Roma settlement, Frascati is today reknown for the international scientific laboratories it hosts, the most notable ones being the National Research Council (CNR) and the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA). Famous for its XVI century villas (including Villa Mondragone) and churches, the town enjoys a lively nightlife with its bistrots and tavernas. A perfect match between nature, science and cultural heritage, Frascati is an ideal historical location for students and scholars.
No support will be provided by CSCC for accomodation arrangements and related costs.
Nevertheless, CSCC has special agreements with the following facilities, which will offer discounted room prices for participants in "Understanding global China" Summer School.

Students coming from Rome can reach Frascati easily.
There are trains to Frascati every hour from Rome Termini railway station for 4,20 EUR round ticket.
From Frascati train station, students will benefit from our daily bus directly to Villa Mondragone. The transfer back to Frascati train station is also granted at the end of the lessons (free of charge).
